An agency needs more than a larger profile list

When a freelancer hires the first account manager, the browser setup often becomes a team system overnight. Personal notes become instructions, shared sessions become client assets, and “ask me before opening that account” stops being a reliable access rule. A GoLogin comparison should examine that transition, not just how many profiles fit in a table.

GoLogin advertises dedicated profiles, built-in or external proxies, cross-device team sharing, folders, statuses and notes. It also lists an Android application and Selenium and Puppeteer integrations. Isoline provides cloud-backed team workspaces on Apple silicon Macs with folder-scoped access, templates, saved versions and an action log. Both deserve evaluation through a real colleague handoff.

Organize ownership before inviting contractors

Start with a client who has two social accounts and an advertising account. Name the profiles so the client and account purpose are obvious, then put them in an appropriate folder. Decide which teammate needs browser access and which actions they may perform. Keep the platform’s primary administrator and recovery contact documented separately; the browser profile is only one part of account control.

For a contractor, access should follow the assignment. A designer may need no live session at all, while a social manager may need one client’s folder. Review what happens when the assignment ends, including any platform permissions or external credentials granted outside the browser. Removing a workspace member does not automatically revoke every token or account invitation they received elsewhere.

Where Isoline is the better fit

We recommend Isoline when the team works on Apple silicon Macs and wants the same controlled process for every client. Invite each person through their own account, restrict the relevant folder and use a reusable template for the browser setup. This creates a clear starting point for new work without relying on someone to copy settings from an old client’s session.

The saved-version history and action log give an account manager a practical recovery path when browser state changes. Recover the browser environment, then verify the live platform separately before resuming a task. GoLogin remains a reasonable candidate when its Android access or existing automation integrations are important to your staff. Select based on those actual needs rather than assuming every agency needs the same device mix.

Pilot onboarding and offboarding together

A useful trial has a beginning and an end. Have a temporary teammate join, complete a harmless authorized task and hand the profile back. Then remove their access and verify the result. Testing the whole assignment reveals more than opening a profile successfully once, and gives you a procedure you can reuse when the next contractor arrives.

  • Map your current profile names, folders, notes and proxy assignments to the client inventory. Translate status labels into an agreed process instead of inventing matching controls.
  • Invite a teammate with the intended role. Confirm they can find the right profile, see only the intended scope and understand which actions require an administrator.
  • Complete a close, save and reopen handoff, then test restoration with disposable browser state. Document any platform verification the account owner must perform.
  • Remove the temporary member and review platform permissions separately. Keep the original browser environment during the pilot so a migration problem has a controlled fallback.
